My passions
Throggs Neck Community Alliance is a non-profit started by my Mother Angela Torres. We focus on making the maximum positive effect for our community in the Bronx, feeding over 500 families twice a week every Wednesday and Saturday. This started in April 2020, after the loss of our grandmother, Maria Salaman, to Covid. It was a small project in our church to help feed those who are unseen in our community. Now it has blossomed into a food pantry that has been helping people who are going without.

Truflyny back to school event with TNCA
My passion for fitness started as my doctor soon realized that despite being 15 years old I was already 265 lbs. I knew that I needed to change and that ultimately this would only get worse as I constantly heard from doctors about my weight issue. During a 2 year stretch from Senior year of high school to freshman year of college I was able to go from 265 to 175 by a mixture of lifting and also most importantly tracking my calories. Currently I document my fitness journey on TikTok where I post fitness videos and workouts.
